ERIE21 Secures $249,000 Contract with Syracuse City School District
Le Moyne’s ERIE21 program has been awarded substantial funding from the Syracuse City School District (SCSD). The recently signed $249,000 agreement will enable聽ERIE21聽to continue its traditional academic and summer programming – focused on coding, robotics, engineering and innovation – for SCSD students in grades 6-12, while also expanding the program鈥檚 reach to incorporate fifth grade students and teachers into an introductory coding program. With these funds,聽ERIE21聽will increase the total number of middle school students served annually from approximately 100 to nearly 500, with new push-in programming beginning the week of May 8.
